The entire comic is still just as appealing as before, albeit in a slightly different way. It is a captivating story that builds as it goes along, concluding in a way that gives readers even more reasons to keep coming back. This leads to Hawkeye challenging more intense conspiracies and dealing with more emotional personal issues. However, it focuses slightly less on humor and slightly more on drama. It brings back the same charm and wit that the series had from the start. 2: Little Hits, by Matt Fraction, feels like a more evolved form of its predecessor ( Review). Anyone who enjoyed the previous volume or who is looking for a great Hawkeye book should read this comic. Plus, the comic continues to take risks and do things that most other comics would not do. This leads to a book with more tension, suspense, and emotion that still manages to find time for some action and comedy.

Increased drama is particularly noticeable in the exploration into Hawkeye’s character. The narrative, as a whole, sees an increase in emotions and suspense. I'm definitely on board, and I've totally taken off the whole part where I think about this as a superhero title under that title and expectation.Pros: The action and humor are both still well-executed.

I'm hoping in the next trade we'll revisit Kate and Clint's conversation, the way the Villain-Hero double play issue rolled out. That was genius and interesting, and gave us so much more information about the tenants of the building than we'd ever seen before. I love, love, love the Pizza Dog issue this ends on. I love how much Kate know Clint and won't let him pull his normal crap. I loved the way the second to last issue went back at step and brought us to the villain in the end of the issue, matching the one before it where we saw how Clint got to that moment. I love that Fraction has started playing around with timelines and appearances, giving himself a little more slack to be amazing with timelines and approaches. Show More takes you off with a bang, and I'm utterly in love with all the interaction of Kate & Clint and Clint & Natasha & Ex-Wife & Jessica.
